These Over Pressure Shut Off (OPSO) stop the gas flow in event the regulated pressure is greater than a defined value.They are used LPG,Natural gas and SNG installations. They can also be used with other non aggressive gases (air,nitrogen,…).They protect from overpressures generated by a malfunctioning of the regulator (debris on the seat,ice blocking,…) or a re-liquefaction of LPG in the pipes.These valves can be used as a stand alone product or be integrated to any gas regulator.
492L low pressure OPSO valve
Low pressure models are generally installed upstream the regulator and a sensing pipe is connected to the downstream presssure (external sensing).
492H high pressure OPSO valve
High pressure models are installed either upstream the regulator (external sensing) or downstream the regulator (internal sensing).
